Handsome is typically classically good looking with "masculine" features (like chiseled chin and defined brow bone, and model-like facial structure.)

Cute typically reflects youthfulness and boyishness (not a bad thing). Dimples 90% of the time also read as cute no matter the other features.

I don't use cute to describe personalities.

I've been called cute, handsome and good-looking by women of all ages. Not "hot" though...or if I have, I don't remember it.

To me, they're all compliments and I don't spend time doing any deeper analysis than that. I just respond in some positive way and then move on.

I have not been called "sexy" as of yet, but that's because I'm yet to expose myself naked as an adult to women who won my heart.

Sexy has nothing to do with nakedness. It is an aura combined with the way the person makes you feel. But it is not the same as chemistry.

Eye contact does influence sexiness.

I'm going to speak for the guys on here because I'm a guy. Through most of my adult life I have been called handsome but never cute by women, due to the fact of being tall and having broad shoulders and so forth made me handsom. However the women who say guys are cute or go after guys who are cute but don't not refer to as handsome are the ones who get plenty of tail.

There are 2 ways to think about it here:

Younger women always classify myself as creepy, stalker like, and other undesirable stuff due to my very traditional and conservative outlook.

Older women (like my mom's friends) call me "cute" and "refined".
