On a different discussion ( same topic) one woman justified her wearing PJ's to Walmart by saying........" however, unlike others, I always shower and put on clean pajamas"
I have a very hard time believing someone would shower and then select ......pajamas...as the choice of clothing to wear to Walmart.
When I was in college some friends and I decided after an evening out to put on our pajamas and robes and go eat out at Country Kitchen. That illicited a lot of stares which is what we wanted to accomplish. We thought it was the funniest thing ever. Now you see folks out in their pj's everywhere.
Not since I went to a "pajama party" at a frat house in college in 1966. My date got drunk and obnoxious and I walked back to the dorm in my pj's and fuzzy slippers.
The only people doing it are the college kids. It is fad among college kids.
Even people at walmart don't wear pajama pants. It is fad among college kids.
There seems to be lots of crazy fads these days.
I saw a man older than 40 walking into the store in pajama bottoms about a week ago (above-average temperature for winter). I presume he was coming from his home about a block away. I think head-to-toe pajamas in public is limited to college students.
I don't want to see how people look when they're in bed and what they wear when they're sleeping. That's just too personal for me.
