I didn't get offered a nerve block, I don't know if it's legal in this state to do an injection in my gums or inside lip. When I got my permanent makeup in 1999 in CA, the lady had a dentist come in to give me an injection to numb my lips. Awhile later I went back and she was doing the Novocaine herself, having gotten the stuff from Mexico and probably not wanting to pay the dentist to do it. I'm sure the whole thing was totally illegal.

ETA: Despite all that, I will definitely have it done again!

Hahaha.... that's dedication!

(I'm still in a quandry tho, lol)

I also saw results with too faced lip injection. I also saw another product by niod. Niod lip plumper. It’s 60 bucks for a small bottle and sounds like it worked similarly to too faced.

I actually asked my derm about lip injections and he pretty much talked to me out of it. He said they’re painful, look ridiculous at first but the swelling goes down. I have thin lips but I guess I don’t want or need full lips that badly.
