Wide pant legs. Baby doll blouses, short sleeve with cuffs. Please. This is 2023! Stop trying to infantilize women.
I like wide leg pants. Kind of balances out my top-heaviness.
I also dislike empire waist clothing, on me. I'm a big chested woman. Empire style...what can I say? Might as well serve these babes up on a platter at Thanksgiving. lol
I’m a 6’4” man and I love tall women. I notice them all the way across any room.
My wife is 5’8” and that feels a little short to me.
I’ve seen tall women slouch and that bothers me a little, because they clearly have no appreciation for their very own super power.
Nice of you to say this.
I did slouch when I was younger, but then I saw myself in photos, and it looked awful and certainly didn't make me normal-sized. My mom had a straight, strong back, and even though she suffered with being too tall at 5'11" growing up in the 1940s when she had even fewer clothing options, she always stood up straight.
Now I do stand up straight, especially as I move into my senior years. I don't want to get the rounded back. And now with longish thick grey hair, the height definitely is a superpower. I aspire to become the tall old hippie witchy woman who scares the neighborhood children.

I like wide-leg pants, too, and I am absolutely NOT top-heavy. But I have wide shoulders and hips, and the wide legs balance me out.

Yeah!
Your post reminded me of my favorite aunt. She was born in the early 1920's and suffered through the fashion of her young time with very large breasts. She told me and my cousins that she always slouched because the trend during her youth was toward skinny, flat-chested women and she was very self-conscious. She didn't have really terrible posture, but it wasn't great either. My cousin that I was closest to would always sit stick-straight as a teenager because she didn't want to be permanently slouched like her mother.

Wide-legged pants? I greeted the new trend with relief, liberation from skinny jeans! Then I discovered they look terrible on me! lol! I'll have to go for a more conventional straight leg, if they're available. I used to love flared jeans, but after so many years of slim jeans, I can't get used to all that fabric flapping around at the calves and ankles. There's got to be a happy medium....
I totally agree w/you on the baby-doll look, though!

I guess the reason I hate wide-legged pants is that I feel like they make me look fatter. And like you, I hate all that fabric flapping around at the calves and ankles. I've never worn skinny jeans, but I love straight leg jeans or slacks.
As for those baby doll blouses, I keep seeing those on various fashion sites and just wonder why they're pushing that stuff. I'm pretty much a girly girl, but I wear a lot of men's sweaters and shirts and I love to rough it in the wilderness/nature. I always take my makeup and face cream though That's why I loved living in the PNW when I did. People don't care about looking hot or sexy as much as they do in Southern California. I loved the thrift shops in Oregon.
I don't know that I look fantastic in wide legged pants, and you really have to wear something slim on top to balance things out. I bought a pair of floaty linen ones earlier in the summer, and they were so comfortable on those really hot and humid days that they were my new favorite purchase, even if I didn't look like a model in them.

Have you tried bootleg jeans? Some flare, but not all that flapping around.

The trick is (in my opinion) to wear a slimmer profile top. Not a TIGHT top, but something that skims the top half of your body, as opposed to being loose and flowy. For example, maybe a form fitting tank top, with a button down shirt over it, or a kimono or jacket over it.
Woops, I didn't see Fleetiebelle's post above. But...I concur. LOL
