At this time (9-22 10am e.s.t.), the GFS model says a Cat 1 hits Louisiana on October 2nd.
If that occurs, gasoline prices will rise because Louisiana has 1.165 Million oil drilling sites (see map link below), & many will shut down:

NHC didn't invent those models....they are weather models the NHC is trying to average....blend...to come up with their forecasts
if the NHC really knew what they were doing....they wouldn't be blending and averaging a pot full of models
....if the NHC really knew what they were doing.....there would be only one model...the right one

No one has a clue drew but me. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Take it to the bank hank. It's always the same places that get all rain jane. A Cedar key hit would destroy me if it is a CAT 5 with gust over 200mph. ANYTHING OVER 120MPH WOULD BE THE END for my area. None of these homes could take 120+. Let alone a surge of up to 28ft pete.

Flip flopping like a fish on the deck by heck. Just so you all know bros, we gotta wait for a center to form norm. If the center forms a good bit to the north then south FL could get some action by Mon and if the center forms to the south then it could be for the panhandle randle or more to the west. It's all gonna come down to that dig down from the north. It's all about timing. Still nothing at all to see as there is nothing but some clouds. Maybe by fri nite dwight or Sat morn we will see a center form.
