I`m putting a huge pot of green beans out of the garden on early and will add some new potatoes out of the garden with them with a touch of bacon grease.
I may try a squash casserole that someone was nice enough to give to me, and I`m in the mood for a good meatloaf.

If hubby feels a little better, we will do tri tip on the grill and of course salad. I am trying to decide between grilled veggies or making veggie cakes..

Oh, we might also have some berries. I just picked my first wild blackberries a few minutes ago. Usually the deer eat them before I get out to pick, but this year we don't seem to have an many deer. That is a mixed bag for us. We love to watch the babies grow up though the summer, but we hate what they do to the produce.

Tamales are getting totally outrageous here.... But we have some packaged store bought in the freezer from the holidays. Gonna have them tonight. May be the last tamales we see for a long time.

I'm such a little over-achiever sometimes. Ya know, when I'm not being the laziest good-for-nothing around.

This morning, I assembled a lasagna. I did everything except bake it. Tomorrow night, I'll do that last part and we'll have that for dinner tomorrow.

Tonight I'm making this for dinner: //www.city-data.com/forum/recip...r-chicken.html

It's one of my husband's favorites.

Tonight's dinner is burgers on the grill, carmelized onions on the side, parmesan risotto with fresh mushrooms, broccoli, and a salad.
