I bought 2 extra-large hams during Xmas, cut it up into bits and pieces, put 2 cups of ham into each zip-loc bag, froze it, went through my cookbooks and lined up 25 new recipes! Made 5 this week as my weekly cook-out!
Just finished making a creamy/cheesy ham soup from Ireland, excellent! I usually avoid the Irish recipes because they appear so bland, but I added some chicken bouillon, shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream!
Also made: a pasta/ham dish, a black bean/ham soup (with a quarter cup of sour mesh whiskey thrown in at the end), a southern ham/lima bean bake, and a cheddar/ham/potato pie. All were good!
And I'm tempted to do one more: Southern Ham/potato croquettes!
We had the leftovers from last night's Macaroni Grill dinner.
Thank you! No, it was my Gdaughter's 5th! I knew I should have said it. Sorry... Another coming next month. Not me,... I'm trying to stop counting at the last one.

Thank you also Jaxson (inside info) I got her a couple nice warm knit dresses.
I made spicy breaded/fried pork chops, with parmesean/romano creamed mashed potatoes, and roasted corn. It came out REALLY good too, my daughter went nuts for it I was very pleased with it.
