Morning all! Just dropping in after a hard morning's road trip planning and it's not going well. With 3 kids we are too big a group for most hotel/motel places to fit in one room and two rooms is just too expensive. The trip might be fun eventually but the planning definitely isn't!

No cooking for me tonight - I'm going to the movies to see Benjamin Button tonight, and they serve proper food in the movie theatre itself which is great - spinach salad, glass of wine and Brad Pitt - perfecto!

So DH is cooking - which means he'll take the kids out for dinner

Oh, I wish we had movie theaters like that! My sister has some by her and my best friend as well.... that sounds like it makes for such a fun date night... ENJOY!

Good morning foodie friends! I as well have no clue as to supper yet. Have chicken breasts that marinated over night so probably do something with them. I am in a mode nothing is tasting good to me right now to bad my waistline isn't showing that as well. Think it is the winter blues of being cooped up inside my creativity has left the building possibly.

I did try a very old recipe a friend found in an old country cookbook for sugar cream pie last night. It didn't set up even baking it 25 minutes more than it called for. Hated wasting all that cream but I like to try new baking recipes too. Might whip up one from my recipe box that has been family passed down today.

Hope you all are having an enjoyable day and loving these warmer temps we are having!

The closest thing I can think of is to call the wife and tell her it is wife's night to choose. I'm a total blank today..She will do something even if it is live off my fat night...

Well, I didn't get left overs last night because hubby ate them for lunch yesterday. So I ended up making a cheesy chiken and potato skillet meal. Tonight we had several errands to run, so it's probably a "grab something while we are out" night.

Spag & meatballs is a good idea - maybe I'll make that ready for tonight so DH can stay in with the kids and help with homework...while I go out!

How do you make your meatballs?
