It's been cold all day (horse show) so we decided it was a good night for chili........seems to be happening alot the last few weeks.......breaks my heart to Keep it chilly

Is chilly here too. Could have used some hot apple pie with the ice cream tonight.

I hope everyone had a great day.
We had baked Panko pork chops, red cabbage and fried pirogies with melted butter and onions. Really good on a cold night here in NC.
Have a wonderful night everyone, time to sit by the fire now.

We are putting off the burgers til tomorrow because I didn't get to the store for bleu cheese and buns. We'll have them tomorrow instead. Not sure what we'll eat tonight yet!

My boys have decided to try to shed some poundage , so being carb consious
we are having steaks on the grill with steamed swiss chard and broccolli....
I, who am not dieting will add a baked potato . The fire place is roaring and feels great as I just came back in from walking the dog. Hope all have a great
snuggly Sat. evening!!!!!

We're going to have some 7-bean soup I just took out of the freezer.

Took a container of gravy out of the freezer-Bonus day-it was meatballs. I'm in heaven. That and rigatoni.

Thanks to those who taught me the little trick of mixing flour with water as a thickener , I always thought you need make a roux. Not only did it make dinner better but it's always nice to learn something new
