Went out to our local Cheers last night and shared a huge nacho platter, a couple of drinks and frustrations w/weather with the locals.
Today-heavy rain that will turn to snow this evening and we're to get 12 to 16" between tonight and Sat. morning.
I'm making a big pot of "gravy", meatballs, sausage and stuffed shells. Chocolate cream pie.
I totaly understand about the snow frustration. Hang in there Lacey! In my old stomping grounds ( Anchorage, Alaska.) end of May was pretty much the very beginning of spring. Moved to Fl. and right now it's great but come summer we hate it. Much to hot and humid for us. I guess no place is perfect. Maybe the Azores

Darn! I wish I could send you some spring!
Dinner tonight will be Pasta and Sausage. My wife made it last night because tonight she has to come home quickly to eat and then run back to the school for parent-teacher conferences.
Morning all....sorry about the snow Lacey. I feel your pain. Growing up in the midwest we hated April, one day 70 next day 30. It will end. Just think of all the pretty flowers you will have in May while us down south will be sweltering.
Last night I made quick chicken pot pie (used biscuits for the pie). It was good comfort food. Tonight I am either going to make soup if it rains or some sort of pasta. A little torn at the moment.
Made the peach cobbler with the pecan topping---it was wonderful. Beware, it is very rich and only need a very small amount. This recipe made enough to last us a week which means we can munch on it for breakfast and dinner deserts. Tonight we are having stuffed bell peppers with mashed potatoes and salad. I have so much to get done in the next 6 days that I don't plan on spending any more time then necessary cooking. Lots of pasta and such looks like! I'm counting down the days now as we leave here the 17th of April!!! YES!!
Yes ...yes....I'm alive. My computer has been down. We got it repaired...then it died again.....back to the shop..etc.....its fine now.
Sorry Cyn...didn't mean to worry ya!
Meatloaf tonite.
It is so nice to see you here again Nic! We were concerned. I understand all about the computer problems. What a pain. Anyhow, welcome back and very happy to hear it was your computer and not anything else!!
Location: Lots of sun and palm trees with occasional hurricane :)

Hey guys....
Oh Lacey.... all that snowwwwwwwwwww... how horrible. I don't think I would survive one month where you're at.
I took out skinless chicken thighs for dinner tonight. I'm thinking of just throwing them on the BBQ (probably my bf will be doing the throwing). :-)))
What goes with the chicken thighs? Remember I'm trying to diet! :-)
Things just slowed way down the Space Center and the Military just aren't spending the $$ right now.
Nic, happy to see you and glad you are ok!
