We have company coming tomorrow evening with big two teen age boys; I am making a big pot of chili today.....I am not sure of how the days will unfold and we may be eating out...but with two large boys....I figured the chili would get eaten. It smells delicious.
Tonight I'm going to make pan-seared shrimp with garlic-lemon butter, stir-fried green, red and yellow peppers and zucchini, Caesar salad and cantaloupe sorbet for desert.
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

It seems whenever I check out this thread, I find something else I'd like to eat....I love chili (but it has to be a LITTLE on the "soupy" side, not thick like a gravy base). And the aroma while it bubbles away. mmm.
Then I read about pan-seared shrimp, stir fry, caesar salad and (wait for it)....canteloupe sorbet. yummmmmm
DH is taking me out to lunch/dinner. Not sure where yet, but at least we'll be getting out of the house.
Mmmmm. More sweet potato recipes and with coconut, too. They sound delicious.
I have chicken cutlets and top round steaks in the fridge. Between tonight and tomorrow night I will use them both, but I am not sure what I am going to do with either one yet.

So, I just made up some chicken breasts... pan-"fried" (my version of PAM Frying).... made a sauce with a little white wine, evoo, a tiny bit of Smart Balance Spread, GARLIC, onion, Italian seasoning, a drop of FF sour cream, some more wine (LOL)... Pourd a bit of it over the chicken and put it in the oven to cook the rest of the way... Saved the rest of the sauce... going to boil up SOME pasta... it will be tossed together for a light pasta combo...I just need a veg and a salad... Thinking just a simple Ceaser (thanks for the idea!).... But the veg... hmmmm... what do you think? Zucchini? Broccoli? Mushrooms??? All three??? Oh Decisions Decisions Decisions....
We've been talking pizza for a few days. Now my idea of pizza is getting in the car and heading 1500 mi east to NJ/NY but apparently I'll be heading 3' south to the phone.
I wish I could send you all a good slice of NY Pizza I would... We do it really well in WNY... with dripping sopping wet spicy wings... Nobody does wings BETTER than Western NY! Sorry, it is true...
Skbs-if you could sent along some mussels in hot sauce that would be greatly appreciated.
Now Lacey... one thing we do right here in WNY is WING SAUCE...LOL... you want those Buffalo Mussels HOT or MILD LOL We also do Garbage Plate/Burger Hot Sauce... which is a meat sauce (I think I posted it on the recipe board a few weeks ago... I will search it out...)
Which would you like? LOL I vote Buffalo- I can eat that on ANYTHING- even Salad! and I do! (great on Fries by the way!)
