Yea I hear ya. At least I have a bag of bland corn chips and 3 boxes of Velveeta to make a hot sauce dip with. Might have to indulge and use some hot wing sauce in the melting cheese (I know it's cheese product) for the dip. Now just maybe a can of refreied beans to go in the mix?? This would be for after dinner as I can't corrupt my BLT's for a couple of hours anyway.

Keeping it simple tonight, using up fresh veggies from the farm stand. I just got done whipping up a triple batch of zuccinni bread and I've still got a little left over. So, I'm putting some red potatoes and zuccinni chunks together with a little butter and seasonings and roasting them in the oven. I'm also cooking up some sweet corn on the cob while it's still good. Dessert is the carrot cake w/cream cheese frosting that I made over the weekend.

SKBS-that movie night sounds fun. Sounds similar to something I do once in a while. We pull the sofa bed out and eat popcorn and have root beer floats while watching movies. The kids usually fall asleep and everyone's happy!

Default Shake-N-Bake Tonight

Tonight, I've got the table lined up with these goodies:

Shake-N-Bake Pork Chops
Creamed Spinach
Salad
Sliced Strawberries

And later in the week, I plan to meet with my mother at the Cheesecake Factory. I haven't decided what to have, but I know what I'll be having for dessert.

Have a good evening, whatever you do. Make it a good meal tonight, and bon appetit!

On the grill I will do a couple of teriaki marinated turkey cutlets, serving with rice and broccoli.

Change in plans for tonight. DH stopped at our favorite meat market on his way home from work and picked up a French Dip for himself (he was probably thinking of a French maid ), and chicken fried steak, potatoes, gravy, and corn on the cob for me. Yum!!!!

We'll have the lamb chops tomorrow night, since they're defrosted.

Lacey - I never tell him it is lamb. When he asks what's for dinner, I just tell him "chops".

Skbs - Sounds like a great girl's night. I would love to do the same for a big girl's night. LOL!
