Met a friend at a diner and since I don't usually care for diner-type food I had the usual.
Cheese omelette and home fries, liberally doused with tabasco

Water to drink and I ate half of my friend's coleslaw for dessert.

Need to go shopping and don't feel like cooking much tonight (or going shopping) so I made Zatarain's Red Beans and Rice (I rarely buy boxed dinners but this is one we like sometimes, and its cheap and fairly quick) and baked hush-puppies.

Spinach and strawberry salad with fig vinaigrette, linguine with sliced portobellos, peas and Riesling cream sauce. I made chocolate croissants, but we were too full for dessert and just had espresso.

I made big baked potatoes, and because the boys are carnivores I made some sauteed mushrooms and chopped steak yumminess that looked a lot like stroganoff and served it atop the baked potatoes. I also finished it with a grating of sharp white cheddar cheese.
