We are grilling a small roast that I am marinating now. I think I will have grilled veggies, green salad, with our fresh tomatoes and maybe mashed potatoes.

Tonight we have cottage cheese and young potatoes. The cottage cheese I prepare with black pepper, caraway seeds, spring onions and chives and decorate with tomato slices. We use a touch of butter over the boiled potatoes after they are peeled and served. A red radish salad and a cucumber salad in balsam vinegar, olive oil and salt and black pepper dressing. For dessert fresh sliced mangoes.

Fricassee of Chicken with Cream and Morel Mushrooms. I'll be glad when I finish the prep work and get it all in the crock pot.

Oh nooo! Were you able to save some of it? Can you throw it all together in a big stew?

Made a superb sauce with pork spare ribs and homemade meatballs, some ravioli I picked up when I was in NY last weekend, and a nice romaine salad. Yes I am Italian (1st generation) and take my sauce (I still don't get how some people call it gravy) seriously. Use only San marzano tomatoes from Italy, the freshest basil and garlic I can find, good parmiggiano reggiano, and 1 cup of a $30 bottle of chianti Classico. My meatball recipe, that one goes to the grave with me.
