Tonight I make a quick and delicious meal Here it is as follows:

Alm's Marjoram chicken!

4 chicken breast (you can use thighs, legs, what ever you have at home )
Olive oil
1 large onion (any will do)
2-3 heaped Tbsp marjoram
Salt and black pepper to taste

Heat a pan and gently fry onion in olive oil. Add chicken breast as whole or diced. Brown from both sides. Add salt and pepper, marjoram and turn chicken around one time so it gets flavored from both sides.Cover and cook gently til ready. With it we serve tonight mashed garlic potato with 1 spoon of sour creme in it. ( to die for,but we do it seldom, because we have to watch our health )As a side salad I make my Bavarian tomato salad with olive oil, onion, chives, salt and black pepper and vinegar of your choice. To drink we will have chilled sour lemon/lime water in a carafe.
For dessert we have chocolate mousse with a chocolate coffee bean for decoration.

I'm back
Having spent 10 days on the road eating 'food to go' then arriving in Michigan to find out we didn't have a rental after all we ended up Kamping out in a Kozy Kabin at the local KOA whilst house hunting. We managed to find a house but the stove was a mess. So here I am 5 weeks later with a brand new gas stove raring to go with some home made foods .... and what do I come up with for dinner ? sausages and ermm ... savoury rice ???

*sigh*

Last night was steak topped with blue cheese crumbles and homemade pesto (really good taste combo!) and then side of cauliflower puree (I cheated and threw in 2 yukon golds as well) with cream cheese, cream, garlic and butter mixed in. Topped it with some chopped green onion and fresh ground black pepper.

Tonight's dinner is white chicken enchiladas, spanish rice and refried beans.

We are having Tilapia, ramen noodles with cilantro, green onion, cumin, ginger and a little soy sauce, and a big green salad and guess where the tomatoes came from? That's right, our garden.

We're having quinoa salad wraps, peaches with raspberry sauce and chocolate mochi. Blueberry-basil water to drink because it's my favorite warm weather beverage and I can't get enough of it.

Sounds good, but I do not think of sour cream as being bad for me, at all. It is good wholesome dairy.
