Frozen Egg Rolls. Well they won't be frozen once I bake them. Then they'll be Pork Egg Rolls. One with Soy Sauce, one with that oddly orange colored sauce sloop that comes in the little packets when I order Chinese Food from the Chinese Food Delivery Place. There's only enough of that gloop in that packet for one egg roll, hence one with gloop, one with Soy Sauce.

And wine. There will surely be wine. There will probably be wine just OODLES of hours before dinner - based on today's weather and work outlook, this can only be a good thing.

UPDATE on the Chicken Casserole that the husband made last night: He said he won't eat it again unless I make it (he had grabbed one of my recipes and decided to try it - I just didn't know in advance what he was doing). He pulled an Allrecipes twist on it though - he took my ingredient list and purchased what HE thought he should use - not what the recipe called for - then wanted to whine about the final product being "but it's not how it tastes when YOU make it". No, dear, it won't taste like it does when I make it - you used DIFFERENT STUFF IN IT!!!!!!!!!! Turns out he only got all ambitious and wanted to do this because he had taken the chicken out of the freezer a couple of days ago.

See, some guys get drunk and go out gallivanting with their friends until all hours - my husband gets drunk and takes meat out of the freezer to thaw with no plan of action for it once it's, well you know, thawed. I think he does this when I'm sleeping because I haven't actually CAUGHT him in the act, yet. I don't know which kind of man is worse. But I can tell you which is more annoying!

A busy kid's activities night. I will make my go to kid friendly fast dinner for them. I will cook up some chicken and apple sausages and cut up some carrot sticks. I will have a lean cuisine (wish me luck) later on after everything is done. No clue what my husband will have. He's an adult, he'll figure it out.

Chicken Parmesan (I've never had it before, so this should be interesting), a Caesar salad and some Texas toast.

That sounds scrumptious!

Cheese enchiladas with rice, beans, pico de gallo, and guacamole. I'm thinking about using the deep fryer to make some tortilla chips also.
