Tonight boiled potatoes with butter, creamed cottage cheese with our first chive, caraway, black pepper and a tomato/parsley/onion salad. To drink lemon water. For dessert we got as a gift Japanese Baumkuchen samples and today we try the lemon one with a cup of Darjeeling tea.

We're entertaining a few people tonight (not that I really feel like it), so I'm making it easy on myself:

Strawberry-mango moscato slushies
Bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers
Chicken & Shrimp summer rolls
creamy potato salad (with fresh tarragon and capers)
Coconut sour cream pound cake
(everything is made except for the drinks and jalapeno poppers)
