Going to my friend's pool party. I'm bringing a trio of dips (TJ's pineapple salsa, Texas caviar, and yogurt-dill), tortilla chips, potato chips, caprese salad, and a jug of citrus-mint tea.

Host is serving apricot glazed ribs, potato salad, macaroni salad, Cole slaw.

I cleaned out the fridge so I could do the grocery shopping. We had a lot of odds and ends. Pineapple, baby carrots, celery with peanut butter, 2 hot dogs, diced ham, mac & cheese, corn, plain vanilla yogurt with frozen fruit and a little milk thrown in the blender for smoothies.

In the morning I want to finish up the ham. I need to do something with the rest of the sour cream and a few tortilla shells. Some kind of wraps with eggs and cheese????

Dinner tonight was the first meeting of our cooking club and we did an Indian menu based on the cookbook, Made In India. We had way too much food, but here is the list:

Chana Dal with Golden Garlic Taria
Mint and Yogurt Chutney
Rice
Chili Paneer
Salmon and Spinach Curry
Naan
Chapatis
Chaat Salad
Spring Subji
Chicken Tikka
Fresh Spinach and Paneer
Pomegranate and Mint Raita
Chicken Curry
Cinnamon Lamb Curry
Cauliflower, Cashew, Pea, and Coconut Curry
Lime Soda
Ginger Cordial
Blueberry Lassi
Chai Spiced Chocolate Pudding
Pistachio and Saffron Kulfi

I brought the chicken tikka, mint and yogurt chutney, and blueberry lassi.

Thank you, Alm, for your advice and suggestions. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated your input.
