Popping some frozen lasagna into the oven. I always keep individual servings in the freezer. Also garlic ciabatta rolls and something green.

About to embark on teaching husband Chicken Divan. I'm out of commission (VERY bad pain - health nonsense) so since he's feeing really bad for me, he said he'd make dinner if I told him what to do (he can cook, kind of, but needs a LOT of guidance at times). Comforting, and easy - sounds like just the plan!

Besides, it will keep him out of trouble while he poaches chicken.

Sorry about the pain Missy2U.
So I'm feeling crappy, some kind of bug stuck in my chest. Luckily for me the husband came home from Connecticut today. He's at the store right now buying what he needs to make a vegetable stir fry with udon noodles. Between a super healthy meal and a break from dealing with the kids I should feel great in a flash!
Have a great rest of your Thursday!

Wilted arugula salad with bacon crumbles, hard boiled egg wedges, shallot rings, and hot bacon dressing.

DH will probably still be hungry, so I'll make sourdough toast with some sliced leftover grilled chicken.

Leftover sirloin steaks from yesterday, mixed into a salad, for a steak salad. Vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Tonight we're having clams, mussels and spinach in a delicious sauce over linguine, garlic toast and a bottle or two of Veuve.

Smoky braised Collard Greens and turnip greens. Black eyed peas. Corn fritters and hot sauce. Nice and easy.
