After a very long hike all day I just made baked potatoes and added sour creme and chive.With it a spinach and tomato salad and a beer.Later all of us enjoyed a glass of red mulled wine/ Glühwein.

I made gumbo yesterday to eat for dinner tonight (I prefer a very dark roux and I don't add andouille or chicken when I'm doing a seafood gumbo - okra (that's a given), crab, shrimp, white fish, oysters) served over scallion rice with a garden salad and garlic toast. Linzer torte cookies and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
