After a very long hike all day I just made baked potatoes and added sour creme and chive.With it a spinach and tomato salad and a beer.Later all of us enjoyed a glass of red mulled wine/ Glühwein.
Since I never met a carb I didn't love, it sounds great to me!
Our dinner tonight is not too fancy -- some leftover chicken for DH, some Trader Joe's soup dumplings, and if I'm still hungry, I may make some frozen gyoza or ??
At least I got a couple of coding assignments done today. Cook again soon.
I made gumbo yesterday to eat for dinner tonight (I prefer a very dark roux and I don't add andouille or chicken when I'm doing a seafood gumbo - okra (that's a given), crab, shrimp, white fish, oysters) served over scallion rice with a garden salad and garlic toast. Linzer torte cookies and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
