Pizza is my favorite food!!!! What makes a pizza great? What are your favorite pizza toppings? What is the most exotic pizza you have ever tried? Where are the best pizza places in the country or the world for that matter? I have tasted all of the pizza in the city of Pittsburgh and would like to know where the good pie is in the rest of the US.

Wood fired oven real Italian Pizza. Thin crust, great passata, fresh torn basil, thyme, Buffalo Mozarella and maybe a couple of real anchovies. Yumm....

The most exotic pizza I ever had was served to me at a fancy restaurant in Ohio. I was at a business meeting and the restaurant owner was serving a large dinner as a thank you, so he chose the entire menu.

On a wood burned crust he brushed some soy/giner sauce then added strips of red peppers, shrimp and green onions. He sprinkled a very light amount of some type of cheese and it was simply beautiful to eat

I personally like a very thin crust topped with a tomato sauce that has good herb flavor and not too sweet and it has to be cooked in a wood-fired oven.

As for toppings, I don't know if I could pick my favorite.

If you ever travel to the Seattle area you have to try Pagliacci's Pizza, they are the absolute best pizza in the Seattle area and they have great Gelato too.

Oooh, I don't know about that. I'm not a big fan of pan pizza. I vote New York style.

My local pizza restaurant does a pizza (I forget what it's called) which is yummy. It's basically cheese and tomato with every vegetable in the known universe on top and a big egg in the middle. Mmmmm.

I love a good pepperoni and mushroom pizza from any well-established Chicagoland joint. I dont care whether its thin or deep-dish, I LOVE pizza. Thank the Lord I live in this area, or else Id go insane.

Actually, I did live out of state for awhile (Clarksville, TN) and I cant begin to express how bad I missed Chicagoland's pizza joints. That garbage they call "pizza" in TN couldnt nor shouldnt be called pizza. lol

I think it is the crust that makes the pizza. I love a good deep dish, but I also love Neopolitan pizza with a thinner crust. It really depends on what mood I'm in.
