Syrian bread dipped in tzatziki.

*a couple times I have been asked what is Syrian bread. For those who have asked it is very close to what most people call pita. Some differences I found is Syrian is much thinner, drier and much larger. It truly is the staff of life for me.

Chocolate cake!

And I guess I'll make a spinach salad with strawberries, hard boiled eggs, and balsamic dressing.

Some of us are much more interested in the cake.

I stopped at the local Farmer's Market and got some corn and cantaloupes.

I made some corn fritters, grilled pork tenderloin, and hubs had cantaloupe for dessert.

I'm finally making the quesadillas, and being in the mood to cook shows in the end result. Problem is I got half way through and realized DH can't do dishes with one arm in a sling.

I'm making some kind of one pot meal tomorrow night!

Had a filling lunch earlier, so it was just a large Caesar salad and a breadstick for dinner. Took a beer break and drank a Ginger Ale.

last night was feeling lazy, so I just opened a can of tuna, sliced a tomato and nuked an ear of corn. Had a handful of peanuts & chocolate chips for dessert.

Actually, I nuked several ears of corn. Tonight I'll make a corn chowder and top it with bacon and salsa.
