We will have pasta topped with a garlic cream sauce and mussels On the side will be green salad and yes, a glass of white wine. NOrmally we drink red, but his calls for white.
We have a 3 day long weekend and tonight it will be fish and chips in beer batter, coleslaw and beer.
Dessert choice for me probably mint chocolate or Jamocha ice cream.
I am making steak, baked potato and a salad tonight. I have been living with my Daughter and her family since Mid June - and I only get to cook when SIL is gone LOL - he isn't a big beef eater - so tonight Bone In Ribeyes - Tomorrow something with Chicken Breast.
I think a big pot of lentil soup with smoked ham shank. I can use up the last of the veggies in the fridge and some excess tomatoes from the garden, plus.... less dishes.

Tonight we are having creamy garlic butter Tuscan shrimp (since we enjoyed the Tuscan chicken mac & cheese last night), over cavatappi. The sauce is filled with garlic, tomatoes and spinach; garlic toast and a bottle of Veuve. I made a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake last night too.
Well too much happened this morning, starting with a trip to urgent care for spoiled brat: no, nothing really serious but it threw the whole day off. So, instead of the mussels for dinner,we had a huge lunch at our very favorite Mexican restaurant and dinner will be a simple Tuna salad. Nothing more, not even bread I don't think. Right now I don't even want dinner but in a few hours I will feel differently.
