I agree. We stayed home. It's another "armature night".

Son and GF left and took half of the chocolate cake from yesterday.

I made pan fried, seared sweet scallops, and wild mushrooms, in a light lemon garlic sauce served over radicchio and snap peas, with Parmesan brown butter risotto.

To drink, Sauvignon blanc

Assorted dark chocolates and Irish coffee.

Tonight's dinner:

Bacon, artichoke, and red pepper pizza

It looked good, very good. However, I am fasting for a blood test in the morning. I was glad I had the time to put it together for the DW as she had just returned home from one of her photography trips.

I did have a bistro lunch with an old friend, so it was a nice day.
Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day!

Drove 300-mi RT for an interview, which always gives me a bonce bashin' headache, so... dinner was eaten while driving... 4 aspirin, a horribly weak SBucks coffee, 3 giant Smart Waters & 6 slices of WalMart sandwich meat... all I could find in the middle of cow country.

Glad the day's over... wish the headache would leave with it.

Last minute change of plans last night, ended up cooking pork chops and broccoli with lemon butter for a quick dinner.

Tonight will be some sort of leftovers that need to get cleared out of the fridge.
