Trying a new turkey meatloaf recipe tonight. It includes minced mushrooms, garlic, onions worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and panko crumbs......can`t wait to see how the mushrooms, in it are. Making sandwiches with it, on kaiser rolls.
DH isn't tired of the lasagna yet. I fixed a tossed salad with surimi, sunflower seeds and grape tomatoes for myself.
For dessert we each had a bowl of that chocolate tapioca pudding I finally got around to making. I used the last of the Godiva melting chocolate in it and a dab of butter. It was very tasty but not very pretty. In fact it was butt ugly. Heh. Like something you might find piled up alongside the river bank. If I ever served it for guests I'd put in parfait glasses layered with coffee flavored whipped cream.
A box of Royal Riviera pears from Harry and David's came in the mail today from friends. Can't wait to make composed salads with bleu cheese, red onion, candied pecans dressed with a maple/cider vinegar vinaigrette and cracked black pepper!
