Chicken Alfredo and a glass of water.

Hubby mentioned to the waitress that it was his birthday, she let him know that he can choose a free dessert.
He opted for the monkey bread with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Eat the ice cream and some of the monkey bread. Took home the rest.

The second chicken club from Carl's Jr. along with kale and broccoli salad. It was buy one/get one free at lunchtime, thanks to a coupon I got in the mail.

Really bad pizza that my son ordered. I'm not hungry, but I am sad. We could have gotten good pizza.

Hate it when you spend money on something you order: delivered or take out and it is bad. Years ago we ordered Pizza Hut and had it delivered to our church Bridge group: same thing, it happened to be really awful and I have shied away from Pizza Hut ever since. Before we had gotten decent Pizza from them. One of these days I might give them another shot, but there are so many good pizzas out there why not depend on them?.

So true about Pizza Hut. Sometimes it’s the best ever, but other times, no.

Like Subway.
The bread is like chewing on carpet underlay.

Yesterday I had a "date" with my husband. We went out for Americanized Chinese for him and sushi and sashimi for me. https://www.sakebombbistro.com/menus
Started with miso and a Chinese beer.

My husband ordered a pupu platter and yes a lot of it came home!

And my sushi and sashimi. It wasn't outstanding but it was good.
