Potatoes, onions, cabbage with garlic, some heat and caraway and a chunk of smoked ham on top. Close the lid for 30 minutes. Comfort food.

A few days ago I did a rack of spare ribs, low and slow. We only ate half, so I pulled the rest off the bones and chopped it up. Tonight we'll heat it in BBQ sauce, and put it into buns, along with coleslaw, and some asparagus. I bake that 15-20 minutes until just tender with mayo mixed with grated parmesan on it, then a layer of Swiss on top.

Soup and 1/2 toasted roast beef and cheese sub. Finished off the rest of the Mt Dew, not that there was much in there.

Need something easy and fast for tonight, so tacos won out. Iced tea to go with them.

Tonight at the Case abode: Medium sirloin steak (roughly about 18-ounce) with a loaded baked potato (ranch dressing, butter, chives, and bacon bits).
