Tonight thin German pancakes/Pfannekuchen with sour creme and smoked salmon, all rolled up and sliced to serve with a glass of Gewürztraminer.

Later by the fireplace watching a Bollywood movie called "An Evening in Paris" while enjoying a glass of Grog.

Tonight hubby is making chicken cordon bleu (his own version, with spinach in addition to ham and swiss cheese), and his Italian “jambalaya.” Smells wonderful right now.

Beef ravioli and a slice of Texas toast
Peach moscato

Thought we were going to have a slice of Red Velvet cake. Didn’t taste like cake. Tasted chewy…yea, like a brownie. Something my spouse picked up. He checked package again after collecting our plates. Sure enough, Red Velvet brownie.it was ok but when you are expecting it to be one thing and it turns out to be something else, it can be disappointing. Our fault. Next time, better read more carefully. I still like brownies tho. I bet that would taste better with a decent scoop of chocolate ice cream alongside.
