Actually, that's not uncommon. People who don't like cilantro frequently say it tastes like soap to them.

Cilantro is part of the Holy Trinity for many Asian and Latin cuisines:

Garlic, Lime, Cilantro.

I love the taste and smell of cilantro; I'd eat it as a salad green.

I'm sure you know that it's a genetic predisposition.
