My husband and I always go during the endless pasta days... Something about stuffing yourself with six pounds of fake, soggy pasta drenched in cream and cheese for less than $20 for two people is appealing to me in some sick, masochistic way. Oh, and the breadsticks are sooo bad! It's like unsliced hot dog rolls covered in garlic salt...that I'll eat so many of. Shame on me..I know.

Heck if I'd ever pay regular menu price for any of that food though. Or eat the marinara...bleck.

I'm that vehemently angry about Pampered Chef products and PF Changs. I...just..don't...get it.

If I see a Sysco truck in front of a restaurant, I don't go there.

Here is what I don't get about Olive Garden...do people know that for a few $ more an entree they can go to an executive chef led establishment with fresh ingredients?

The pastas are apparently like 10-15 bucks but go to a place with just a bit of a higher price point, say 12-18 bucks if I compare the pasta plates...the price is so well worth it AND you are not eating at a chain...

Chili, Salad and Chips with Salsa for $6.99 make Chili's a very attractive place for a good hearty lunch.

I am less worried whether a restaurant is independent or a chain as whether it provised good food at a reasonable price.
