Morning all soup last night was delicious. It's on the menu for lunch today.

Cyn those crab legs sound divine. I am sooooo jealous.

Dinner tonight will be veggie stirfry. My two older boys are going to church youth group from 5 to 10 tonight so I can make what I want to eat. Woo HOO!

Good afternoon everyone !

I hope anyone caught in those nasty storms I have seen predicted on the weather forecast is Ok and that nobody has suffered any property damage.

Cynwldkat crab legs sounds so , so delicious, I am green with envy as crab is on my top 5 of all the foods in the world !

Tonight we're having simple pasta with tomato, basil and Parmigiano Reggiano, I am in the midst of one of my sadly too common tonsillitis so something soft and easy for the throat is what I need...

Trying to think up something nice for supper with the wife but when ya can't face food it's not easy. Maybe as the day wears on things will change. Right now I just can't think of anything edible.

Morning all

My dinner tonight will be leftover homemade minestrone soup. I use a Rachael Ray recipe - believe it or not, she makes a really good minestrone, with zucchini, spinach, canellini beans, chick peas, celery, pancetta, ditalini, onion and green beans. One recipe = enough food for the two of us for three days!

She can be so irritating, but some of her recipes are pretty good

Soldier son is going to be home tonight for the first time in five years-his dinner request: good ol' tacos! So, tacos it is with homemade hot salsa and all the trimmings. Probably will throw some rice and beans at him as well. Gotta go finish cleaning and make the salsa so it will be nicely hot by dinner. Hope you all have a good day.

Debsi, I thought of you when he requested the tacos...what can I say...I raised him right! Tomorrow night will be Santa Fe enchiladas, then during the week we will also have posole and/or green chile stew. All his requests...and, of course, we will not forget dinner at my mothers...he wants "Grandma's meatloaf"! What a kid!
