I put peanut butter on waffles and french toast with maple syrup on top.

I also put ketchup on mac & cheese and eggs.

My daughter has to have her eggs with maple syrup on them.

Peanut butter and green olive sandwich. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

I love peanut butter and I love olives so this is one I'm definitely going to try out!

Plain green olives, or the green ones with pimento in the middle? Or either one?

(I wonder if Kalamata olives.... my #1 favorite... would work too, or would be too salty)

I use the ordinary green ones with pimento, but don't think it would make much difference without.

Kalamata? Not so sure how that would taste. Worth a try though

I have read in Scotland you can get a deep fried Mars bar and just about anything else you want deep fried. It sounds interesting.

I love a fried bologna with mustard and a slice of American cheese once in a while!

Cottage cheese and Worcestershire sauce
Grilled cheese with swiss, dill pickle, hot mustard on Russian/pumpernickel bread
Fried Appetizers with Blue Cheese Dressing (instead of Ranch or Sour Cream)
Tuna with sweet pickle, green olive, fresh parsley, and lots of lemon juice
Raw Beets and Hummous
Peanut Butter and Honey (my husband thinks this is weird but I know I'm not the only one to do this)

I also made a watermelon salad, I used goat cheese, a light drizzle of olive oil and put it on a bed of mixed greens, and top off with a sprinkle of fresh cracked black pepper, it was awesome!!

bacon or ham and pancake syrup is tasty.

adding green apples to a salad is delicious!

Any other food combinations that look weird "on paper" but actually taste really good?

you don't have to go all the way to Scotland to try that, at many state fairs they have fried candy bars on sticks!
