Hint-
****-a-doodle-doo!
It is a thick chicken and leek soup with many regional variations.
It is Scottish.
Cullen Skink is this gorgeous smoked Haddock soup from Scotland, almost a meal in itself. Perfect on a cold winter's day...

I love butternut squash soup from Amy's, I find it at Whole Foods, it doesn't look that great in the pot, but it is very delicious!! with a salad and some fruit on the side! yum!!

Call me simple but I love chicken noodle.
Vegtable beef soup isn't bad but my standby favorite is chicken noodle.

I can't even list my favorites in order, let alone pick just one! The only soups I don't like much are barley, bean or bean heavy ones. My top favs are

cream of mushroom
oyster stew
NE clam chowder
menudo
hot & sour
crab/egg drop
French onion
gumbo
restaurant cheese soup

Now you've done it. I must make this.
But I don't know where I would get Arbroath smokies. What is a banana shallot? I think I could figure out the rest of the recipe.

I must be very vanilla.

My favorite soup is Swanson's chicken broth with garlic.

My comfort soup is lentil. My mother used to make a crockpot full of it with a hamhock each time I came home for the weekend from college. I'd eat, take a nap, eat some more and then go back to bed. Talk about being spoiled. heeheeee

We had snow this morning and I started a pot of lentil soup. Right now I am sipping on the chicken broth with garlic. yummers!
