I had one stop by a few days ago, but haven't seen him since.

Saw my first just a little while ago. He stopped at both of my front feeders, which have been up all winter.

I really didn't have many last year compared to the past couple of years.

My little bad azz showed up yesterday! He is quite the dominant of the group. Took a long sip, and proceeded to sit on his happy branch, watching over his kingdom. This is his third year here.

Have you seen any yet? They are all over the migration map I posted.
Due to very cold temps (20s) and snow the past 4 days the poor little birds were nowhere to be seen. The sun finally came out this morning and even though it was only 25 degrees there were two at the feeder at 8 am. Poor little birds really needed some nourishment!

Glad I saw this thread. I bought a humming bird feeder about 3 weeks ago with the red juice. I hung it on my porch and it is really visible but so far, I have yet to see any humming birds and the liquid level hasn't gone down

Nada yet nobody in the neighborhood has seen any either. They should be showing up anytime now & I'm ready for the fun little things.

It is better if you make your own juice for them the red dye isn't good for them. Boil the water first, measure and add sugar~ I use 4 cups of water & 1 cup of sugar stir until dissolved. Let it cool before filling your feeders then store the rest in the fridge.

I've been having hummingbirds for about a week or two. I've only seen two at the same time. I sure hope I have lots of them this year. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to have about thirty of them buzzing around. I filled the feeders several times a day. I've not had that many since then and conditions are the same.
