Anyways, AJF131, all these responses are typical of the fast-growing city crowd. Just because their cities are growing fast automatically makes them great! Didnt you know that?
Still mad about the Super Bowl, huh? Get over it.

Finally, some support. In any case, I'm not going to risk getting blocked over this. This is ridiculous. I have respect for Indy and Louisville, as I said before, they impressed me more than I initially thought they would. I just like my city better. I may have been too harsh initially, I didn't figure that I would get two angry people trying to take my head off for my remarks. There may be as much to do there, I have been to these cities six or seven times, so I feel like I know them well enough to at least get an idea of what the cities are like, and i have friends from both cities. I'm one person, with one opinion. Not everybody is going to agree with me, and nobody is 100% correct when it comes to opinion unless we are discussing the facts. I'm not interested in getting banned over this, so how about if we all go back to being humans having a civilized discussion. I'm sure Colts and Stix can do that.

This isn't even funny anymore. Now it's just sad.

You say that
Quote:
I have respect for Indy and Louisville
but then you say
Quote:
Indy and Louisville are just cities I pass through to get to other cities
Doesn't sound very respectful to me.

THEN, you go on to say that
Quote:
One city is not superior to another
but yet you say
Quote:
indy and Louisville have nothing on St. Louis, and never will.
Your hypocrisy astounds me. Case dismissed!

Riiiiight. Im a Bear fan, no doubt, but far and away Im more of a hockey fan. Their loss is nothing new to Chicago sports, Im the least bit affected by it, champ.

Still mad that New York City (hell, just Manhattan alone) overshadows Chicago? Get over it.

I'm always a step ahead of you fools.

I'm sorry. Does the term "fool" offend you? It was either that or call you a Chicagoan, and I chose the term I thought would be less insulting.

Right, ok, cool...

So anybody have anything good to say? Seriously, it's getting ridiculous.

Ok, so here we go - I went to Chicago for the first time (!!!) in June. Yeah, I know... I'm 4 hours away and I'd never been. I just never had reason to go up there! Chicago was always the "big city" up north. But, wow... its reputation is deserved. What a cool place! The Chicago river pretty neat, running through downtown... and REAL Chicago deep dish is something everyone MUST try. I loved all the activity downtown, the public transportation, and even Navy Pier was great... went to a restaurant that had some live jazz playing. To all those from Chi town... I love your city!

Apology accepted, but I dont think anyone would appreciate being called a "fool", wouldnt you agree?

In any case, lets just enjoy the fact that were ALL from great midwestern cities and we're here holding the fort, not so quick to abandon it for wasteland sunbelt cities like millions have done. I like seeing this kind of "passion" for midwestern cities.
