New Jersey is North and South, and a good number of people claim there to be a Central section, as well. For me personally, it's North and South.

The state itself, for tourism I guess, classifies us into 6 regions: Gateway, Greater Atlantic City, Skylands, Shore, Southern Shore, and Delaware River. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gateway_Region (This page is specifically about Gateway (where I live ) but it mentions the other 5 at the bottom of the whole intro part.)
