Old thread, but I thought it was funny.
Having grown up in Arkansas and lived in Little Rock for several years, I'd say you'd seem like an immigrant from New Jersey, nothing else.
I knew people that moved there from New Jersey and the northeast. They didn't stand out that much because it's a big enough town to attract people from all over.
Even in small-town Arkansas, the people I came across from New Jersey blended in because they were blue-collar and not overly pretentious. That probably speaks to the type of New Jersian that would move to a place like Arkansas on purpose because they liked it.
Generally, as long as you're chill and can take a few potential good-natured jabs upon arrival, you'd do fine just about anywhere.
