I dont think its cool-its just "Missipi is racist" but isn't "F Mississippi"
So i wouldn't say there's this visceral hate. It's more indifferent and just expected.
Also, black people in particular don't dislike Mississippi the way they do Boston.
I would argue that Mississippi is probably the most hated state in the US. I would say that its a visceral hate too. Its basically the state people point to when they want to make a punching bag of someone.

I think it made fun of Alabama might be more hated. Or WV. I could be misreading though.
Black people have a respect for a baseline level of Mississippi due to the large black population and history.
The point is that the unfair "hate" toward MS, AL, WV, etc. tends to be from outside of the South, for the most part. It's based on pre-1970's stereotypes that aren't based in reality. I've been to each state many times and they are great places with wonderful people who are a truly harmonious society. Very geographically beautiful as well.
Yeah it’s very common for northern white liberals to hate on Mississippi, Alabama etc. because those states are full of “bad whites” in their minds. They look at the poor socioeconomic statistics and blame it on poor “racist” white republicans. The demographic reality in these states is much more complicated.

Oh there's plenty " F* Mississippi " cuz. Black people that do like it have either roots or retirees for the most part. Ask any other black people outside that categories and their response will be bewilderment of why not " F* Mississippi ". LOL
Precisely. It seems that the stuck in time stereotypes is incredibly difficult to shake from the Sipp in the eyes of mainstream america. Quite ironic at times as well.

It’s Perpetuated by Southerners more than anyone else. To say “we aren’t like that anymore.” Eg Atlanya is the New South or the City too busy to hate is in comparison to Jackson or Birmingham.
But also the Deep South has objectively the most vile, violent and destructive racial history which is why for example Maryland and Virginia are pretty desperate to rebrand as Mid Atlantic. And Florida as “not the real south”Mississippi simply can’t do that it’s in the middle.
