Everyone knows that is the low. If we're lucky, it'll get upto ten below that afternoon.

Several things:

The weather. Hot as Hell in the summer, cold as the Artic in the winter.

Traffic, Horrible, especially going from NYC-NJ or vice versa during rush hour.

Mass Transit: Subways are over crowded. Service disruption. Possiblity of a fare hike and service cuts.

Cost of Living: Too damn expensive.

Chicago

It's isolation from other major cities. Closest ones are St. Louis and Minneapolis, both too far for a weekend trip by car.

Obviously you haven't lived in Chicago long enough to have heard of Milwaukee.

Other than that, I'm good.
North Jersey by the way.

What's the biggest gripe about Stockton, California? How about damn near everything? How about the fact it's full of ugly buildings and ugly freeways? How about the fact there's more illegal aliens than citizens? Stockton is awful, period. I live in a suburb of it and even I wouldn't drive around Stockton. I go to the nicer towns around it.

That has more to do with the economy, though. Public transit's servic cuts and all that are results of the recession. Once, er, if the economy comes back, the subways, buses, and cabs will be up and running fine.

Traffic isn't too bad unless, like you said, it's rush hour. But that's what the breakdown lane is for, isn't it? Zooooom

Prices are high, but why wouldn't they be? It's only the greatest and most important city in the world with Wall Street business men making, in their personal pay, hundreds of millions of dollars per year.

I like the weather here.

See how easy it is to be negative about greatness?
