There are at least 3 or 4 within 15 min. of my house.
There are 2 in the city (3 before Katrina) and about 10 in the immediate suburbs. I'm sure its somewere between 25-50 in the entire metro area.

There are two in San Luis Obispo County. They are planning on putting one up in Atascadero, but I will be out of this town before they do that. I voted against it, I went to town hall meetings, I tried my damndest to get people to vote against it. We have one 10 minutes down the freeway, why the HELL are we going to put another one in our little town????!! I'm irritated and done with my town. Bah.

It seems like there are more Walmarts in the South than anywhere else.
