I'm packin up my stuff ASAP, and moving to California. Goodbye philly, hello california "green" rush. Alot of other people where I live will probably try the same thing. Whats your take on it.
Please don't. That is one thing I really hate about this thing is that IF it passes, and that is a big IF, it's going to attract people out there that want to live out their fantasy weed lifestyle in CA. That is such a dumb reason to move somewhere imo, especially to a state as expensive and with such a bad economy as CA. You can get weed anywhere in the country, no need to come to CA for it. Whether your buying it from a dealer or at a store it's still weed and it's not like you'll be able to smoke it in public or anywhere you want.
This state feels like a damn petri dish sometimes.

I'll be right behind you and don't worry Cali; I'll bring my own!

That's pretty much my take on it.
CA will be flooded with killakoolaid.
No offense, but seriously,...I maybe would've given up everything just to get high when I was 17...but, I'm not sure California would've benefited much from my slacker 17 year old contribution. And as sav858 said, if that is your MAIN focus in selecting a place to live...well, that's pretty sad.
And that is reason enough for some people to vote it down. The 'green rush'.

Buying from a dealer and buying from a store are very different.

Cali's gotta save their econmoy somehow, and I don't think there's any gold left. california always gives droves a people a reason to move there from time to time. It colud usher in another econmic boom for california. Don't under estimate the underground economy of weed in which billions of dollars are generated annually globally.
If they tax it approriately, while it won't fix their problems overnight, it may save them from doing massive layoffs within the state (i.e. teachers, police, firefighters). Ironic.
