You must have gone to Ingle's #23, 201 Barber Boulevard, Waynesville, North Carolina 28786-3686.

Another Ingle's in Waynesville, Ingle's #58, 1678 Brown Avenue, Waynesville, North Carolina 28786-4980, is closed for a rebuild. It should open in early 2018.

Ingle's been active in the past four years opening new (additional and replacement) stores. New stores have opened in North Carolina and Tennessee. Several new stores in South Carolina are planned.

Ingle's new stores can shutter Food Lion and Lowe's Foods and give Harris Teeter and Publix competition. I think Ingle's could succeed in Guilford and Forsyth counties with a quantity of stores.

Ingle's is opening an additional store in Statesville, Ingle's #150, in 2018. It will be similar to Ingle's #23 and newer stores that have opened within the past four years.

I think Ingle's has overlooked Hickory and Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba counties to increase store count.
