The loop will be about 46 miles or about the same distance between Greensboro and the Yadkin River (Rowan County line) maybe someone could record a time edited video drive along the loop with some edited music like I've seen with a number of interstates on YouTube.

Regarding the I-785 corridor, NCDOT awarded a contract for improvements to all 6 miles of US-29 in Caswell County.

Greensboro just gained a new future interstate. The recently-signed bipartisan infrastructure bill has designated US-421 as a future interstate between I-85 in Greensboro and I-95 in Dunn. NCDOT is expected to request approval from AASHTO to designate it as Future I-685. AASHTO's next meeting will be held next spring, so the request would most likely happen then.
