As is the S Pleasantburg Rd location.
Shockingly.. Bringing this back up because I think all of us expected this to be gone by now.. Golden Chick on Pelham is still open.
The Subway at 4 The Parkway, Greenville, SC 29615 has closed. Sign on the door states they are moving to a new location in the 4200 block of Pelham Rd but it will not open until Spring 2017.
I'm wishing the best of luck to Puerto Vallarta in Cherrydale. It's a really nice little Mexican restaurant. They're in the process of moving into that empty building on the corner right by Cherrydale Cinemas. Every single restaurant that has ever been in that spot has gone out of business. There used to be a Chinese Buffet in that spot years ago that I still miss from time to time.

Wouldn't this be better placed in the New retail/restaurant thread?
And.. I'll mention the one there in Greenwood is an ANCIENT store. Cross the street from Crosscreek/Greenwood Mall. I remember going there as a kid in the 70's. I think that one was of the last stores to get an update in the mid-2000's as well.. As that place was pretty dingy looking from the outside. Looks like maybe it even had an expansion at some point.. I recall it being alot smaller than that.

No Sears in the upstate closing... Yet.
Yes, they expanded the Greenwood store in the 90's when the auto center closed taking over that spot. Surprised at it's closing because it still did a pretty brisk business but I guess Walmart killed it by bookend-ing it with a second store recently on the opposite side of the Bypass. Sad when the only choice you have is Walmart.
Odd Anderson just announced weeks ago they were shrinking that store to allow some space for another retailer. Guess they decided to give in all together.
Oh well. Sears and Kmart as a whole aren't long for this world. Their demise just draws closer.
