Inferior retailers are finally giving up. Kmart is the latest example. I can see a supermarket (i.e. BI-LO) being next.
I don't shop at Bi-Lo since they were purchased and moved to Florida. The stores are dumpy and prices aren't great unless you are getting their advertised weekly sales. I worked for them in high school and it was becoming a joke even then.
The one time I went in there...I did not see any customers except me.
