Captain D's and Long John Silver's have issues staying open and wanting to grow. They cannot grow through additional locations if they close the locations they have.
The one in Easley .....it's definitely closed. I drive by there today and the marquee sign said "Closed" and the windows were blocked out with brown shades or some window covering.
wow, its a newer(built a few years ago) location so that is surprising. tho I've never eaten there so I can't say I'm surprised I guess.

Remember when that was Sonoco Gas Station? I knew the owners and they got a pretty price for that land! Sorry to see it did not work out for Cap D's. I did like the crunchy breading (similar to Long John's).
I know they're now all gone in Greenville all the way down 25 and gone in North Augusta and Augusta.
No more in the entire state of SC I believe. The two remaining ones in Columbia and Lexington closed recently too. I only know of two remaining full line Sears stores left too in SC -Haywood and Coastal Grand in Myrtle Beach. I suspect those will be gone as soon as the respective malls get a deal on acquiring those properties.
Tirado's Empanada's and More closed after not finding a buyer. I could never catch them open after they moved to Stallings. Would have loved to see them somewhere like the new Gather Gvl food hall coming to the west end.

Been a few times. Really good food except there seemed to be issues with their hours. My parents drove over there one evening from Easley and they were just closed. With a small sign saying they were no longer open for dinner. At that point they knew they wouldn't been around much longer.
