Looking to see if anyone has any suggestions for short term furnished housing in the Greenville/Simpsonville area. We will be moving this spring, and our house is on the market now. If it sells early, I don't want to take the kids out if school hat close to the end of the year.

Thanks!
You can try Value Place or any other extended stay. You can also check Craigslist.
Many apartment communities offer sort ten leases (some as little as two months) and many offer furnished as well. Two places we looked at before signing our lease offered both. 535 Brookwood in Simpsonville, and Avana at Carolina Point in Greenville. I'm sure there are many others though. Good luck!
Since you haven't sold your house yet, when a contract is signed, you may be able to extend escrow out to 60 days. Also, you may be able to do a Rent Back. That's where you stay in the house and rent it from the new buyer. Typically those last maybe 30 to 60 days, but some have lasted up to 90 days. There are pros and cons to Rent Back, so do a Google search or ask your Realtor. It depends a lot on the market and of course the urgency of the buyer.

We've done the rent back twice and it worked out fine. I didn't think of it.
