I worked in Toccoa, GA today, and I was shocked at how bad the air quality was down there. It seemed to stretch all the way back to Greenville by the time I got home tonight. That satellite pic above was very helpful to me, in understanding the scale of these fires.

Live in the city of Greenville and currently work in Spartanburg - the air quality is MUCH better in Spartanburg - in Greenville it's awful - I witnessed several people exercising/running outside last night (in Greenville)!

My eyes are really burning today. Wish it would rain but it looks unlikely based on the forecast.

Saturday Nov.12 satellite image showing wildfire smoke / clouds.

Sudden coastal low pressure developing off the SC coast...could lead to a few desperately needed scattered showers Sunday into Monday if rain makes it back inland enough.

We drove through GA yesterday on our way to FL, and you could still see / smell the smoke nearly to Augusta.
