I’d love to get a Roy Rogers here. Used to like that stuff growing up as a kid outside of Philly. Of course, I may not agree with my younger self now but would at least like the option to try!
Roy Rogers has good food quality. They used to have locations in NC and the Midwest, in addition to their core markets in the Mid Atlantic and Northeast. They declined after being sold by Marriott to the former owners of Hardee's. They are now revitalizing under new owners of a Maryland franchisee, and are planning to return to more Pennsylvania markets such as Philadelphia.
I had mentioned this briefly a little while back.. First I had heard of it.. Apparently a small boutique bowling alley, with duckpin bowling, is scheduled to open in Fountain Inn..
They've been saying they'd open Summer of 2019.. I've been by there a number of times and there doesn't really seem to have been any work going on lately. Certainly isn't starting to look like a bowling alley..
Seems they've updated their pages and now just generically say they plan to open in 2019. I believe I saw an update somewhere that they were having some delays and this would seem to back that up. Anyone else following this and heard any other updates?
Hope things go well and they are able to make it.. Good to have local businesses like that. And duckpin is something that you just don't see in this area.
