Checkers have resturants in Florence, Charleston, and Aiken areas. They plan to add large freezers to all locations in the parking lots which is something they have been doing Nation wide.

I posted previously in another thread that Checkers has turned up in recent years in several Atlanta area mall food courts as well.

They literally have one store in Chicago, yes one and somebody was gullible enough to pay for a franchise and bring it to Greenville. That is really really bad business sense. This one review is flat out atrocious:

Moved to the area and excited to try the local ice cream shop with my family. The ice cream itself was fine as most ice creams are however the atmosphere was awful. What other reason do people pay extra for ice cream omfeom a classic parlor? The atmosphere! This place had no restroom, not kid friendly at all, very dated, not tasteful with the decor. Gives the impression that Knick knacks were just added and added over the years giving the decor a very cluttered feeling. There was definite water damage to the ceiling which also made it feel not taken care of. The items for kids to interact with were very dingy and not child friendly at all. Toilet seats with emoji faces inside them? Why is that a novelty? Also a large bubble machine which obviously attracts children says to not touch or play with. Umm, then why is it in the center of the room? The staff was friendly enough and prices were decent for an ice cream shop. Overall, terrible atmosphere. Needs to be updated for a new generation. Will not visit again and do not recommend to family and friends. Very dissatisfied.
